HER STORY

FROM CHARLOTTESVILLE
TO COPENHAGEN.

Cayla White did not arrive at the top of her sport by accident. Her journey began on the practice fields of Northern Virginia where a young girl with a big vision and an even bigger work ethic started climbing a ladder that most athletes never even get to touch. From her earliest youth training days to her first call up to the United States Youth National Team at just 13 years old, Cayla understood something that most of her peers were still learning. Confidence is not something you wait to feel. It is something you build every single day.

She earned her place at the University of Virginia, one of the most competitive soccer programs in the ACC, and over five years she became one of the most decorated goalkeepers in program history. She served as team captain. She led the entire ACC Conference in goals against average and save percentage in the same season. She logged over 3,000 minutes between the posts and posted 16 shutouts while holding opponents to just 8 goals in her 2023 season. She did all of that while simultaneously pursuing and completing both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Science degree from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. She graduated with two degrees from one of the most prestigious universities in the country and she did it while competing at the highest level of college soccer.

After graduation she did not stop. She signed her first professional contract overseas with Odense Boldklub Q in the Elitedivisionen in Denmark. She started every single game she played. She logged 2,000 professional minutes. She made 67 saves, posted 6 shutouts, completed over 93 percent of her passes, and was voted Player of the Match three times. She proved that she belonged at the professional level.

Now she is preparing to sign with FC Famalicão Women in Portugal, continuing her professional career in Europe while simultaneously building the next chapter of her story back home.

PURPOSE

MY MISSION

To equip young female goalkeepers and athletes with the skills, mindset, and confidence to perform when it matters most. On the field, in the classroom, and in life. Because confidence is not a gift. It is a discipline.

CONFIDENCE

Cayla teaches athletes that confidence is built through preparation, repetition, and mental toughness. It is not something you are born with. It is something you earn.

DISCIPLINE

Everything Cayla has achieved came through a relentless daily commitment to her craft. She brings that same standard to every athlete she coaches.

LEADERSHIP

From serving as team captain at the University of Virginia to leading professional teammates overseas, Cayla leads by example both on and off the field.

RESILIENCE

She has faced setbacks, injuries, and the pressure of performing at the highest levels of the game. She uses every obstacle as fuel and she teaches her athletes to do the same.
